Privacy policy
This notice explains how furnishopexpress.com Sdn. Bhd. (SSM 201901034417), No. 22, Jalan Tebing Sungai 3, Taman Pertemuan, 50450 Kuala Lumpur, W.P. Kuala Lumpur (“we”, “us”), handles personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). It applies to this website, our WhatsApp and phone conversations, and visits to our studio.
1. What data we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, mobile number, email address and delivery address.
- Order details: items, sizes, quantities, payment status and delivery tracking numbers.
- Fitting information you choose to share, such as a child's height or chest measurement. We do not need a child's full name or date of birth and ask you not to send them.
- Messages you send through WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form.
We do not receive or store card numbers or online-banking details. Payments are handled by licensed payment providers through FPX, DuitNow or a secure payment link.
2. Why we use it
To answer enquiries, recommend sizes, process and deliver orders, handle returns, swaps and warranty claims, and keep records required for accounting and tax. If you join our WhatsApp community or monthly email, we use your number or email to send those messages only.
3. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for seven years as required for accounting. Enquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after 12 months. Fitting measurements are deleted once the order is completed or after 6 months, whichever is earlier.
4. Who we share it with
Only with the courier delivering your parcel (name, phone, address), our payment providers (amount and reference) and our accountant. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it for third-party marketing. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. This website
The enquiry form does not send data to a server; it prepares a WhatsApp message that you choose to send. The map on our pages is embedded from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when loaded. We use no analytics or advertising trackers.
6. Your rights
You may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent for marketing messages at any time, or ask us to limit how we process it. Write to us and we will reply within 21 days. We may charge a fee permitted under the PDPA for a copy of your data.
